the United States Armed Forces and their families
have worldwide, 24-hour access to timely and
reliable emergency communications, case management
services, and emergency financial assistance on
behalf of the military aid societies. |

Is a worldwide system in which all SDUs combine their
efforts to ensure global, 24/7/365, efficient, effective,
and consistent services.
The Red Cross has earned a reputation for providing
objective, timely, confidential, factual, complete, and
verified reports on emergency situations, as one of many
voluntary relief societies providing support
and assistance to the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.
These reports enable service members and their commanders to
make informed decisions about leave and other matters in
order to prevent, prepare for, and respond to a family
emergency.
